This past weekend Mike, Mel, Lisa & Papa hiked from Max Patch, NC to Hot Springs, NC where Mimi, Amos & I were waiting with a warm cabin for them. I was supposed to join, but decided that I had nothing to prove to anyone & knew that I'd be absolutely miserable in the knee deep snow - so I bailed. Give me 100 degree temps & I'm one happy hiker / camper...none of this below freezing nonsense. (:
