Just Because ...

We capped off Amos' birthday celebration with jumping at Gravitopia and dinner a Chick-Fil-A. Man, pleasing a three year old is easy peasy. He was SO EXCITED to jump around for an hour (and exhausted afterwards) and have everyone come to Chick-Fil-A for dinner, presents, and a red fan cake (thanks Cakes to Dye For) afterwards. He racked up on Nerf guns and has played with them every day since. 

My sweet, sweet, BIG BOY!!! Happiest birthday from mama, dadddy & Solly! You are special and loved more than you will ever know little dude! 

PS---If you're looking to have a party at Gravitopia, my suggestion is to NOT have the party there. We spent about 1/3 of the cost of a party (for 10 jumpers) by just paying for whoever wanted to jump and having the "party" part afterwards at our local Chick-Fil-A. (: 

celebrate | Amos turns THREE

Birthday celebrations actually started on Amos' birthday eve (thanks to Daddy-O). He opened his "want" from us -- a freaking huge MegaRed nerf gun. Y'all...this gun is about 3x as tall as he is and he loves it. This boy and his guns. 

On Amos' actual birthday we celebrated with our annual birthday breakfast - donuts! Three year old Amos' favorite is pink icing + sprinkles. After breakfast we headed to Ft. Inn for a bit, then met M for lunch a McDonald's to continue the celebration!

Amos turns TWO

Since Amos will be THREE in two days, I've been strolling down memory lane - reliving his past birthday parties ...

It's been so fun to watch you grow, Amos! You're amazing. You're (incredibly) smart and funny. You love to be outside, rain or shine. You're a bird of an eater. You're obsessed with (nerf & real) guns and puddles. You're sort of shrimpy (still in 2T pants) and very athletic. Your favorite shows are Umizoomi and American Ninja Warrior. You love to do math with gummies and can count to 20 in Spanish (Ria is working on your colors too). You are learning to be such a good big brother and every once in a while I see glimpses of you and Solomon being best friends in days soon to come. Occasionally you want to hold him and play with him (but most of the time you bump into him and knock him down and take things from him). You're coming around to the idea of another baby and I know you're going to be a great big brother to this baby too.

Mooshka, I love you. You'll always be my biggest boy (besides Daddy-O). I love just sitting back and watching you explore and take on the world. You're so brave big one. I love you so very much and can't wait to celebrate you turning THREE!

I wanted to start a birthday breakfast tradition that can be carried on for all of our littles...one that would be quick, easy, special - and of course, could be done before school (thinking ahead). So, I put Mike on figuring out what this could be! He came up with the perfect idea: donuts, milk & balloons. What kid doesn't love these things first thing in the morning?!
