Hot Springs, NC

This past weekend Mike, Mel, Lisa & Papa hiked from Max Patch, NC to Hot Springs, NC where Mimi, Amos & I were waiting with a warm cabin for them. I was supposed to join, but decided that I had nothing to prove to anyone & knew that I'd be absolutely miserable in the knee deep snow - so I bailed. Give me 100 degree temps & I'm one happy hiker / camper...none of this below freezing nonsense. (:

Tuesday | Day 3
It rained all day, so we stayed inside (not pictured: me in my PJs..all day). It was so nice and relaxing to watch TV, read, play with the kiddos--to literally have nothing to do, but to just be.

Asheville | NC

My boys took me to Asheville, NC for an afternoon for my birthday. I love exploring new cities and can't wait for an extended stay in a few weeks with my Mikey!
