Part 1
Thursday we piled into Honey's van (6 adults) and headed 6ish hours South to Amelia Island, Florida to spend a long weekend with the Olson's who graciously offered to put all of us up. We arrived around 1:30AM, climbed into bed and some of us (us meaning me & Mikey) slept until NOON the next day. Good thing it was a rainy day and we weren't sleeping away precious beach time! (: We spent the day lazing about; we enjoyed the rain on the screened in porch, had a little Just Dance competition on the Wii, took a tour of downtown and the Shrimp Festival, and dined on a homemade pasta bar for dinner. What a sweet treat to be on a mini vacation with some of our dearest friends!
