Boston | Part 1

This past weekend Amber, Ashton, Alexa & I had our annual girls weekend! After arriving at the airport in Boston, we set out to meet up with Alexa at the South Station stop on the T to find lunch. We opted for lunch in South Station (which is sort of like a mall) for lack of knowing anything about what or where the best local flavor would be ... and because it was after 3PM. If you know me, you know I get what we like to call "hangry" and was quickly on the verge of starting our trip off in this state. After a quick bite, we headed to Quincy Adams to check in to our hotel, drop our bags and come up with a plan for the remainder of the day.

We ended up just a few stops up on the red line where we explored by foot for a while. We thought we'd stumbled upon something really cool because lots of locals were all herding in one directions--towards what we could see on the map to be a stadium of some sort. Turns out, it was just Thursday night and the local high school football team was playing / scrimmaging. Oh well! After determining that there wasn't much in or near Wollaston, and because it was raining, we made our way back to North Quincy & had dinner at the local bar, Fowler House Cafe (per recommendation of a local police officer).

We did end up finding a(nother) local joint that only served breakfast and lunch that we made our way back to over the weekend. More on this later!
