Christmas Festivities | Part 1 | 2014

We started our Christmas celebrations this year with the Williams gathering (Mike's mom's side). We enjoyed catching up over brunch, opening gifts from Gram and a little game of dirty Santa. 'Most & Papa had a quick sit in the hot tub before ending the day with a nap ... those two (:

On our way home from Highlands we stopped at a Christmas tree farm .. Mikey and I decided to go back to Elves Tree Farm (not too far from our house) where we found our Carolina Sapphire Cypress last year in hopes of finding another. But, the rest of the Martins didn't walk away empty handed! Melbug and Mimi & Papa came home with their perfect trees!  And, Amos loved walking up and down the "he-uls" and weaving in and out of the rows of trees. 

Highlands, NC

After Thanksgiving the Martin / Johnsen crew loaded up and headed to Highlands, NC for a long weekend of relaxing, eating good food, watching the Clemson V Carolina game, shopping and catching up. Mimi & Papa, this is always one of our favorite trips...thank you so much for this weekend!
