IOP | Part 1

Mike & I took the boys down a day early to have a little time at the beach just the four of us before we joined the rest of the Martin + Johnsen crew and sent Mikey home for a few days of work. We got up early Saturday morning & headed to Sullivan's Island to spend the day before checking into a hotel for the worst night of sleep & getting ready for an early dinner at The Old Village Post House in Mt. Pleasant. After dinner we walked to the end of the pier that used to be the old Sullivan's Island Connector with the boys - to catch the sunset & watch the locals fish. Amos loved seeing the Cooper River Bridge from a distance and talked about driving over it every time we got in the car (he always asked about the "skinny things" = cables). We woke up Sunday & spent the morning walking around downtown Charleston with the boys...then met up with the gang @ Long Island Cafe for lunch!
