Mike and I have two foodie soul mate couples (if there really is such a thing) - Will and Toni and Alexa & Chris. These people just get us when it comes to food (among so many other things in life). So, upon recommendation from Alexa, we stopped in for brunch at Harold's Cabin on our way from Edisto to Litchfield a few weeks ago. Needless to say, we loved it as much as she did. The atmosphere is so neat. Downstairs boasts of a grab-&-go market, photos of times past, a comic lending library and fresh flowers on every surface. We particularly loved the rooftop garden - it provided a neat outside space for the boys to roam while we waited for our food!

We recommend the tomato & pimento cheese biscuit (add an egg of course) and the garden biscuit. Paired with Salty Raccoon (me) & the Rock & Rye (him) it was perfect!
